The film bombed at the box office, and had an official receipts of P14 million in two weeks. It was in direct competition against Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, in the Philippine box office. THE ADVENTURES OF PUREZA was released in over 90 theaters, a lot less than the usual 150 theater openings for a major mainstream film.
